Pueblo Yard Crewman
Work Location: Pueblo, CO (must reside in Pueblo, CO)
Travel: None
Pay Rate: $18 per hour (dependent upon experience)
Schedule: 5 days per week, 40–45 hours per week; some weekends may be required; flexible during winter and summer seasons
General Description: A yard crewman performs general labor tasks as assigned in support of yard and material operations. This role requires physical labor, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining clean and organized work areas. Work Conditions: Work is performed outdoors and requires exposure to all weather conditions. Outside work is required regardless of weather.
Duties:
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned.
- Burn and cut steel.
- Sort and handle materials.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Communicate with supervisors at intervals and upon request.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company rules, regulations, and policies.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to understand and follow company and industry safety rules, practices, and procedures.
- Willingness to identify safety risks and practice safe work habits.
- Post-offer background investigation covering employment history, state and federal criminal history, military history, driving history, education, professional licenses or certifications if job-related, prior drug history, and other job-related information.
- Individuals with felony and/or misdemeanor convictions may not be hired.
- Applicants with more than three moving violations may not be hired.
- DUI/DWI convictions must be more than five years old.
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- The company conducts for-cause, post-accident, and random drug and alcohol testing.
